Our team has developed the first liquid marble based microbioreactor system that facilitates generation of cell spheroids including embryoid bodies and beating cardiac cells from stem cells. (Paper)

Our team has developed a novel hydrogel based microfluidic device that allows users to generate both porosity gradient and chemoattractant gradient in situ to study cell migration. (Paper)

Our team has developed the first injectable tissue scaffold that provides users with the ability to tailor the structure of the scaffold post implantation depending on the growth rate of the tissue or the patient’s individual recovery rate. This scaffold system will be useful for personalised tissue engineering. (Paper)

Our team has developed a novel photo-patternable cellulose-based material for microfluidic device fabrication. The resulting devices were demonstrated to be useful for biosensing and haptotaxis assays, and tissue scaffold applications. (Paper)

Our group has developed a novel approach to biofunctionalizing microchip surfaces to allow mammalian cells including stem cells to adhere and proliferate while maintaining their pluripotency. (Paper)

Our team synthesis layer-by-layer nanoparticle via surface acoustic wave from a microchip. The nanoparticles were demonstrated to be useful for gene delivery. (Paper)
