Dr Peggy Chan received her PhD from University of New South Wales. She worked as post-doctoral fellow and then a research scientist at Institute of Bioengineering & Nanotechnology, A-star, Singapore.

Later she worked as a Lecturer at Department of Chemical Engineering, Monash University in Melbourne Australia. She joins the School of Applied Science at RMIT University as Senior Research Fellow since March 2012.

Her research focuses on synthesis of injectable hydrogels for protein delivery, synthesis of tissue scaffolds, development of miniaturize cell culture systems that mimic in vivo microenvironment to study mammalian cell behavior, microfluidic synthesis of biomaterials for drug and gene delivery.
